Information
The free riverboat ferry crosses the Ohio River connecting Kentucky Hwy. 91 and Illinois Route 1 at Cave-In Rock on the Illinois side. The cave was a headquarters for river pirates. Scenic views - unusual mode of transportation. Free - funded by Illinois and Kentucky. Hours 6am-9:30pm depending on water level with safety as first concern.
