The Kentucky Coffeetree Cafe is located in a restored building in the heart of historic downtown Frankfort. The Cafe offers a wide variety of gourmet coffee drinks, delicious desserts, breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, soups and Kentucky souvenirs. On the first Friday of each month from 7 pm to 10 pm, the Kentucky Coffeetree Cafe presents its very popular First Friday in Frankfort event. Each month a rising regional music group is invited to perform. Between sets, a famous Kentucky poet or author is asked to read selections from his or her works. Usually a standing room only crowd attends so reservations are highly recommended.
