Make your way to the junction of Kentucky Route’s 11 and 30 and you’ll find Booneville nestled on the South Fork of the Kentucky River. Named after American frontiersman, Daniel Boone, the town escaped destruction during the Civil War and was a crossroads for both Union and Confederate regiments.
