About

Brandenburg, the seat of Meade County, offers breathtaking views of the Ohio River, rolling farmland and brooding dark forests. Brandenburg is home to historic Civil War battlefields and scenic byways, beautiful apple and grape orchards and unique restaurants featuring Kentucky cuisine.

Brandenburg is also home to Meade County Fair held each July. Agribusiness is still the biggest employer in the county, and when Meade County says its "old fashioned fair time" it's the real deal.
