Situated in the rolling hills of Central Kentucky, Lawrenceburg offers the amenities of rural life with the availability of an urban lifestyle offered by the larger metropolitan cities of Louisville and Lexington.

Known as a friendly town, Lawrenceburg serves as the county seat of Anderson County and is located in the heart of the Bluegrass and Kentucky's Bourbon Region. In fact, we're and ideal location for visitors of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, as we're home to both Wild Turkey and Four Roses Distilleries. Our community is one of Kentucky's fastest growing, and also boasts nationally acclaimed wine and a world renowned cigar factory. The city is also home to a permanent living tribute to Kentucky's soldiers who have fallen in the war on terror.

The downtown district boasts antique shops and local restaurants. Lawrenceburg is host to a variety of entertainment events throughout the year including concerts, shows, festivals, and tours.
