Located in the Daniel Boone National Forest area, Manchester provides unbelievable sights with its breathtaking mountains and forests. The area’s early American heritage differentiates it from other cities. Wildlife also plays an important role in defining Manchester. The turkey and deer populations have grown tremendously throughout Clay County and just recently elk were reintroduced in the area.
