Mount Olivet, Kentucky


Located around the junction of Highways US 62 and KY 65, Mount Olivet was founded in 1820 by Simon Kenton. The county seat of Robertson County, Mount Olivet is named after the biblical Mount of Olives.

Mount Olivet provides a variety of entertainment activities, including museums, shopping and historical sites. Visit Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park and explore the Pioneer Museum, the park's major attraction. Discover the scenic views of the countryside from the recently restored Johnson Creek Bridge.
