Founded over 200 years ago, New Castle is the county seat of Henry County. Situated 35 minutes from Louisville, the city is one of the smallest towns in the state. Downtown New Castle features charming establishments and events, including the Henry County Courthouse and the History Center along with the Farmer's Market, Spring Fling and Light Up New Castle festivals.

Located on US Route 421, New Castle provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the picturesque landscapes. It is the home of the Smith-Berry Vineyard & Winery.
