Camp two nights for the price of one at Barren River Lake State Resort Park during Campers Appreciation Weekend! Warm up your RV, dust off your old tent, and make your reservations for you first camping trip of the season. Nature Fest activities will be offered for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy such as wildflower hike, nature tee's ($), fishing for beginners, and reptile program.
Also back again this year on Saturday, April 27, 2013 is the Louisville Astronomical Society here to present "River of Stars". At 4:00 pm look at the sun safely through a telescope during the solar observation, at 7:00 pm learn about astronomy at "Stars on the Wall", and finally spend the night under a "River of Stars" looking through telescopes at the night sky.
