         1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.
Join the Park Naturalist for a FREE hike on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, 2017.  We will meet at the Activities Building, and set off on the Goose Creek Nature Trail, looking for wildlife and wild flowers along the way. We will also discuss ways to lessen our impact on the lands we enjoy by implementing Leave No Trace principles.  Please be prepared for the weather, and have water and snacks with you.

This hike is open to all ages! Dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed and friendly with strangers.  The hike will be on moderate terrain through the wooded trails. Strollers may have trouble with some of the terrain we encounter.

Hike reservations begin on April 1, 2017.
Hike begins at 1:00p.m. and ends around 3:00p.m.

This hike will be limited to the first 30 registrants. Call 502-429-7270 to reserve your spot on the trail today! If you reserve a spot and change your mind, please call to let us know so we can open the spots to other hikers.
