Mountain traditions abound this weekend as the sweet music of Appalachian lap and hammered dulcimers softly chime in the hands of some of the finest performers in the country.  Delight to lively, entertaining evening concerts and participate in one-of-a-kind lesson workshops in the midst of legendary dulcimer artists.  This will be the 37th occasion for the annual event.

A special event package including accommodations for two nights, two evening buffet meals, and admission to all workshop sessions and concerts is available.  A fee of $10.00 per person, per evening applies to non-package, walk-in participants attending the evening concerts only.  The Saturday morning lesson sessions and the afternoon open-mic and mini-concerts are free and open to all.  To make a reservation, contact the park’s Guest Services Desk at (800) 325-1712 or (606) 337-3066 and mention the Dulcimer Convention.
