Crows beware at Barren River Lake State Resort Park’s Trail of Scarecrows on October 1-31, 2013. 

Scarecrows will be on display along the paved trail throughout the park for visitors to see as they hike or bike.A section of trail is visible along the park road, and visitors will be able to see some of them on their drive into the park. Families, schools, businesses and corporations are encouraged to enter scarecrows to be displayed. 

Registration fees apply.  The deadline for submitting an entry is September 25, 2013.

 One half of each registration will be donated to the Kentucky Employees Charitable Contributions campaign, which aids worthy causes throughout the state. Prizes will be awarded to winners.
