VinylFest provides a great opportunity for music and vinyl fans to meet music industry greats, celebrate the music they love, and seek out the vinyl records for which they've been looking. This year's featured guests include Steve Katz of Blood, Sweat & tears, the Violet Knives, and album cover artist Ken Kelly. Louisville DJ and record store owner Matt Anthony will offer vinyl appraisals. Plu, Palomino Records will demonstrate how vinyl records are made. Guests will enjoy concerts from both Steve Katz and Violet Knives. Other events include a dealers' room, vinyl and guitar exhibits, and more!
Tickets to VinylFest Louisville may be bought at the door. They are $15 for an adult one-day pass and $20 for an adult two-day pass. Children ages 4 to 12 are $4 for a one-day pass and $7 for a two-day pass. Children age three and under are free.
Louisville, Kentucky offers a great location for VinylFest, because it's within a day's drive for two-thirds of the U.S. population, and offers Louisville International Airport for people who prefer flying. The Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport Hotel is the Official Hotel of VinylFest. Special package rates for event attendees are available. The rates are $99 for single occupancy, $109 for double occupancy, $119 for triple occupancy and $129 for quad occupancy. Packages include one ticket for one day registered occupant. A special rate is also available for dealers.
