Regional history museum located in the Old Courthouse in downtown Lexington. Changing exhibits with emphasis on Bluegrass history, equine, early African-American life and technology. The Museum is one of four free museums (others feature police and fire history, pharmacy and African American memorabilia)located in the Lexington History Center, the former Fayette County Courthouse in the heart of downtown Lexington.
