13,191 acres, hunting and fishing for variety of species, multi-use trails around lake and WMA

Over 13,000 acres near Louisa, Kentucky is designated as the Yatesville Lake Wildlife Management Area. The lake itself is 2,300 acres, and one of the better fishing lakes in eastern Kentucky. There are numerous trails throughout the WMA that are open to different types of users. There is plenty of camping at the near by state park, as well as many different types of recreational opportunities.
