This historic site totals 70 acres in Knox county, Kentucky. Located in the hills of south eastern Kentucky, Historic McNeil's Crossing is named after Revolutionary War soldier Jonathan McNeil who fought with George Rogers Clark in the western campaign. There are numerous buildings from the 18th century including an ice house, farm house and blacksmith shop. Primitive camping is available in either teepees or long hunter tents, and there are canoes for rent.
