Recreational opportunities abound at Green River Lake. There are miles of trails for hikers and backpackers to enjoy as they explore the gently rolling terrain of south central Kentucky. The lake itself has plenty of good fishing, and there are also a good number of popular hunting sports throughout the WMA. There are three campgrounds managed by the Corps of Engineers for overnight guests.
