Located within Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park, Lake Beshear offers visitors to the Penny Royal region a great place to enjoy some on-the-water adventure. At 784 acres, it is a good sized lake with plenty of fishing, and a large section that can be enjoyed by water skiers and other pleasure boaters. Boaters can get access to the lake at Reddens Boat ramp.
