Over 200,000 pioneers traveled the Wilderness Road and Boone's trace between 1774 and 1796. Come to Levi Jackson Wilderness Road State Park to retrace the footsteps of the brave souls that settled Kentucky. First learn about the history of the road and the people who traveled it in one of the historic buildings or the museum. For more hands on learners there are over eight miles of trails in the park that include original portions of the historic through ways. There are 146 campsites on the campground, and a group camp site where visitors may also rent a club house. Levi Jackson is also home to Tree Top Adventures, a series of high ropes and zip lines that takes visitors on a high altitude adventure through the park.
