262 acre park, 1.25 mile trail, 2 fishing lakes with boat ramps, electric motors only on lakes

Madisonville City Park offers a little bit of something for everyone. There are numerous recreational facilities including a nine hole golf course. There are also two fishing lakes located in the park, as well as a trail for wildlife and wildflower viewing. A boat ramp provides access to the lakes, but they are limited to electric motors only. This municipal park has been providing residents and tourists alike with great recreation since it was constructed as part of the Works Progress Administration in the 1930s and 1940s.
