These trails are open to hikers and equestrians. There is a mountain bike skills area that is currently being developed on the adjacent Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park, that will help to enhance the biking opportunities of the area. Hunting is also popular on the forest, and there are a variety of game species to pursue. Deer hunters should note that there are special Quality Deer Management regulations in place.
