75 Campsites, 15 miles Equestrian Trails, small lake with variety of fish species
Located in the center of Clay county, this park named after the former Governor offers some of the best kept recreational secrets in eastern Kentucky. Governor Combs burial site is located a short walk away from the parks shelter. The lake, which allows non-motorized boats only, provides good opportunities for a variety of fish including the elusive Muskie. There is also an RV park and campground with 75 sites. Equine travelers will have 15 miles of horseback trails in which to explore the area and see unforgettable views from ridge tops around the park.
