General Description

The Kentucky Horse Park is a landmark attraction for the Bluegrass region. The self titled "epicenter of equestrian life, sport and business", the Kentucky Horse Park is a fantastic venue to learn about and experience one of Kentucky's signature industries. The Kentucky Horse Park has a rich history, and welcomes thousands of visitors every year. Home to the 2010 Alltech World Equestrian Games, the Kentucky Horse Park was honored to be the first host of the Games outside of Europe. Trail enthusiasts will find a trailhead located just outside the Horse Park Campgrounds to access the popular Legacy Trail that conects into downtown Lexington. Rookie riders can also experience trail riding at the horse park, with 35 minute, guided trail rides departing every every hour and fifteen minutes. Pony rides are also available for young children.
