Consisting of over 15,000 acres in Bell County, Kentucky Ridge State Forest covers some of the most breath taking landscapes in Kentucky. The forest is located on the south side of Pine Mountain State Resort Park and the north side of Log Mountain. Hiking, horseback riding, and primitive camping are allowed within the forest as well as public hunting and fishing. Chenoa Lake, also found within the forest, is a popular local fishing destination. Visitors seeking more outdoor adventures, may travel a short distances to the nearby Pine Mountain State Resort Park. ATV and off-road vehicles are prohibited.
