Just north of Kleber WMA sits the Dr. James R. Rich WMA. Named after the long time Fish and Wildlife director, James R. Rich. Hunters who are drawn in a quota hunt for Kleber WMA are also eligible to hunt at James R. Rich. Owen county has the highest concentration of deer anywhere in the state. The WMA also has a good population of turkey and squirrel.
