400 acres, mostly bottomland bordered by Dix River & Mud Lick Creek, open to statewide turkey & small game regulations, no modern gun deer hunting
In eastern Lincoln County is the Dix River Wildlife Management Area. Bounded by the Dix River and Mud Lick Creek, these 400 acres consist of manly bottomland but there are approximately 100 acres that are forested. A number of small game may be taken on the WMA, as well as turkey and deer. There is no modern gun deer hunting on Dix River Wildlife Management Area, but bow hunters often find success.
