1,852 acres, mostly wetland, hardwoods, numerous opprotunities for hunting
Almost 2,000 acres of Cypress swamps and hardwoods make up Kaler Bottoms Wildlife Management Area. The WMA is located eight miles north of Mayfield off of Highway 131 in western Kentucky. Access can be limited at times, especially if the bottoms are wet, but there is mobility impaired access for hunting. Hunting is available for a variety of species. There are no developed facilities or maintained roads on the WMA, and traveling may be tough at times.
