Nolin River Lake WMA provides 6,456 acres of hiking, camping, boating, fishing, hunting, wildlife watching and other outdoor pursuits for just about anyone.
Portions of the Nolin River Lake Wildlife Management Area are located in Edmonson, Hart and Grayson Counties. The WMA encompasses the entire shoreline of Nolin River Lake, and is mostly forested land. Several campsites and picnic areas make it easy to relax outdoors, while wildlife watching areas and hiking trails within the WMA offer more active adventures.
The Nolin River Lake Wildlife Management Area is a popular spot for boating and fishing and there are more than 10 boat ramps for easy access to the water.
Hunting is also allowed in designated areas of the WMA, many of which are only accessible by boat. All users of the public hunting area must abide by Kentucky regulations.
