2,497 acres, adjacent to Interstate 75 in Scott County, mix of forested and open land
One of Kentucky's youngest Wildlife Management Areas, the Vetarans Memorial WMA provides great public hunting opportunities to central Kentucky. Located next to Interstate 75 in Scott County, Veterans Memorial is an easy drive to a large population of Kentucky. At almost 2,500 acres, the majority is forested with patches of open land. The area is popular for deer hunting, but is not open under the state wide modern gun season. A quota hunt is offered for gun hunters during the fall hunting season.
