park, boat ramp access to Buckhorn Lake

This recreation area is managed by both the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Leslie County Fiscal Court. North of Hyden, in Confluence, Kentucky this recreational area is also known by some as the Mary Breckenridge Memorial Park, the area is a day use area with numerous park facilities such as picnic tables and shelters. There is a boat launch ramp and courtesy dock located at the Confluence Recreation Area. Boaters should check water levels before they arrive though because the ramp is only accessible at elevations of summer pool or greater.
