858 acres, primarily wetlands, may need boat to access during high water periods

Clear Creek Widlife Management Area was purchased by the Department of Fish and Widlife Resources to preserve a unique piece of natural wetland. The publc can get enjoyment from this rare habitat while hunitng or fishing. Northwest of Madisonville, the WMA may be accessed off of Utley Rd. Depending on water levels, canoeing and kayaking are also popular at Clear Creek.
