430 acre island on Lake Cumberland, fish for a variety of species, 94 campsites, 18 hole golf course, marina and boat ramps
This island measures over 400 acres on beautiful Lake Cumberland. Named after the Civil War general Ambrose Burnside, this State Park offers a peaceful get away for boaters, fishermen, and campers. The park even has its own island golf course which is a part of the state parks golf trail. There is a full service marina located next to the park, and 94 campsites are on the island to satisfy overnight guests.
