114 acre reservoir, fishing for bass, panfish & catfish, launch ramp and boat dock

Cleverly named after both the town and county where it is located, Lake Carnico is just a few miles north of Carlisle in Nicholas county. The 114 acre lake was completed in the 1960s and has been well maintained for over four decades now. The lake is designated as idle speed only, and has many popular sport fish for anglers to pursue. There is a boat dock and launch ramp available at the lake as well.
