Visitors to Kentucky's fame cave regions who are looking for some above ground adventure can find it at Nolin Lake State Park. The 5,800 acre lake is popular among anglers and pleasure boaters alike. The park has its own launching ramp and beach for swimmers and sunbathers. There are both primitive and developed camp sites, and tourists traveling in RVs will also have places to stay at Nolin. Hikers can enjoy a trail over a mile and a half long throughout the year.
