Canoe & Kayak trips offered up to 18 miles, trips on the middle & south fork of the Licking River, headwaters of Kincaid Lake, opportunities for fishing is good on many trips, 1 & 2 room cozy cabins, open seasonally April through November

Thaxton's Canoe & Paddler's Inn provides great paddling on some of the most unique waterways in Kentucky. The Licking River is recognized as an outstanding water resource. It is home to 100 species of fish and it supports 25% of the United States population of fresh water mussels. Rentals for both canoes and kayaks are available for trips as long as 18 miles. Riverside camping and fishing are available on all trips. The river is rated as a Class I river, which means there are some small rapids, but it is a great trip for beginners. Other than the exciting action on the water, the Cozy Cabins are also popular. One and two bedroom cabins are available for overnighters.
