General Description

Located between Richmond and Berea Kentucky, the 1,847 acre Miller Welch-Central Kentucky Wildlife Management Area offers a wide range of activities. One of the most popular activities on the WMA is field trials for hunting dogs. With flat to rolling terrain, as well as good sized wooded areas, the Miller-Welch WMA is ideal for hunting and dog training. The WMA also has twelve miles of horseback trails that may also be hiked. There is a pond on the site that provides fishing opportunities for a number of different species. People are advised to call ahead to check and see what events may be taking place.
