290 acre park, Federal Hill mansion, 18-hole golf course Kenny Rapier, 39 site campground
Federal Hill is the Georgian home that provided inspiration to Stephen Foster for what would become the official state song, My Old Kentucky Home. A true representation of the antebellum south, My Old Kentucky Home State Park gives Kentuckians and out of state visitors a chance to step back into time, and feel the pride that Mr. Foster felt when composing the famous song. Mansion tours are the most popular attraction at the park, but there is also a campground and 18-hole golf course located on the park. Kenny Rapier Golf Course is one of the finest courses on the Kentucky State Parks Golf Trail. The campground has 39 sites, and is open from mid March until mid November.
