Outside of South Shore, Kentucky, the South Shore Wildlife Management Area is 100 acres of Ohio River bottomland. This terrain provides great habitat for waterfowl, as well as other game species. Waterfowl hunting is available from three area blinds on a first come, first serve basis. There are three blinds on the property that may be used by bird watchers after waterfowl season closes.
