12 mile trip begins at Green River Ferry, pass numerous sandy beaches and islands worth exploring, trip flows through deep gorges and wooded hills with abundant wildlife

Green River Canoeing is Mammoth Cave National Park's oldest outfitter licensed to operate within the park. Experience the remoteness of the park as you paddle along the longest river located entirely in Kentucky. Green River Canoeing offers several trips of differing lengths. Fishing is also good along these trips, as paddlers can find a number of game fish for them to pursue. Camping is also available at certain locations with a backcountry use permit that may be obtained from Green River Canoeing.
