.7 mile looped trail, self-guided interpretive trail, view old pioneer cabin along trail

With a lake that covers nearly 5,00 acres, Rough River Dam State Resort Park is one of Kentucky's top destinations. Excellent fishing and boating opportunities aside, there is plenty to do at Rough River. One unique feature is the airport air camp where aviators can camp next to their aircraft. There is also a 64 site campground available for more traditional camping. There are two trails in the park, but visitors may need to inquire about the trails beforehand because they have recently been closed due to storm damage. Anyone looking to golf will find a 9-hole par 3 course, driving range, and 18 holes of miniature golf.
