General Description
Situated in rural south-central Kentucky, Barren River Lake State Resort Park offers a number of activities for the outdoor enthusiast. Native Americans lived along the river dating as far back as 12,000 BC. Today anglers, boaters, trail users, and campers are merely the most recent to enjoy the beautiful area. Trails for different uses such as guided hikes, non-guided hikes, or just a leisurely stroll. Visitors looking for outdoor accommodations, will be pleased with the park's campground that provides 99 sites.
