6 miles, partially open, designed as a momentum loop, high speeds, short uphills and downhills, boardwalks, bridges, incline bridge
On 185 acres just north of Burlington, England-Idlewild Mountain Biking/Hiking Park offers picturesque settings and trails certain to entertain all riders. Boone County's first mountain bike park was constructed with something for every level of mountain biker and hiker. The trails are designated based on difficulty level, and each have their own unique design and characteristics to keep users entertained and coming back. Trails are well marked, and there are kiosks located at the trailhead to provide users maps and a place to rest after a full day of enjoying the trails. There is also a free ride section located off of the park's first loop where riders can enjoy obstacles like table top jumps, teeter totters, and a 15 foot rock wall. Be sure to visit England-Idlewild Mountain Biking/Hiking Park next time you're in northern Kentucky.
