Masterson Station Park is one of the largest parks in Lexington. Named for Richard Masterson of Fairfax County, Virginia, Masterson Station Park has plenty of room for people to get outside and enjoy themselves. Masterson was one of the first surveyors contracted to survey land between the Ohio & North Fork Licking rivers. Now, the park is a popular place for picnics and dog walkers. There are also equestrian facilities at Masterson Station. A four mile trail provides great views of the country side, and riding rings and arenas host numerous events every year.
