Out in Western Kentucky, Lake Malone State Park has been attracting a number of visitors with all of the activities it has to offer. The 788 acre lake contains largemouth bass, channel catfish, crappie, bluegill, and redear sunfish. There is a boat dock and boat ramp at the park for boaters. The campground has a total of 30 primitive and 25 developed sites, as well as sites to accommodate RVs. There is over one mile of trails for visitors to set off and explore on. From Memorial Day until Labor Day there is a sand beach for the whole family to cool off at and take a dip in the lake.
