The Sheltowee Trace National Recreational Trail is Kentucky's longest trail and stretches over 260 miles through the Daniel Boone National Forest. Once complete, the Pine Mountain State Scenic Trail will total 120 miles along the crest of scenic Pine Mountain. It will also serve as one portion of the Great Eastern Trail that travels across 9 different states.
