Discover America's largest restored Shaker community, where a remarkable society once flourished. Today, you can experience Shaker Village on horseback, bike, or on foot as it provides more than 40 miles of trails for its guests to enjoy. For equestrian riders, Shaker Village provides overnight boarding for a fee. Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill also offers fishing in a stocked pond, Kentucky River access, as well as bird and wildflower viewing. Shaker Village also boasts being one of the most succesful Bob White Quail resoration programs in the commonwealth. Hunters may apply for quota hunts to hunt these wild birds. The 3,000 acre National Historic Landmark is sure to leave a lasting impression with its distinct Shaker style and natural beauty of the Bluegrass region.
