Tailwater Campground is located at Barren River Lake below the dam. 48 sites make up this popular camping spot with modern amenities available to all campers including: water, electric, and a shower house. Tailwaters of the Barren River Lake is a wonderful place to fish for catfish and hybrid striped bass. Downstream, anglers will find there is plenty of great bass fishing. A boat launch ramp is accessible at the campground as well. For those campers looking to make a splash, a swimming area is located less than a mile away.
