Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008, the Fairchild House is located on South Main Street in Monticallo, Kentucky. The Fairchild House is a low Queen Anne Victorian brick house designed by the architectural firm of Barber & Kluttz of Knoxville, TN, for the prominent Monticello merchant, W. F. Fairchild. Fairchild's family moved into the residence in 1906. The Fairchild House is said to be the first house built in Monticello that used an architectural firm.
