Here you will find Victorian elegance with modern amenities.  When renovating this historic mansion the Warrens put  whirlpool tubs in every room and wi-fi throughout, but the historic ambiance remains, thus accounting for their receipt of the  2002  Historic Preservation Aware from the Louisville Historical Society. This mansion, built by the DuPont's who ventured South- West from Deleware in the mid-1800's, has  14 foot ceilings, ornate fireplaces, library, gardens, and off street parking. The Warrens offer a leisurly full gourmet breakfast, when you want it, or a quick early meal for business travelers. This is a "sister inn" with Inn at the Park,  just accross the street,  and the perfect location is the same---close to everything and right in the middle of the grandest  victorian neighborhood in the United States. You could spend your first full day here just walking amoung the blocks and blocks of beautiful Victorian homes and looking at the the amazing remaining traces of our heritage.

Gayle is past President of Leadership Louisville Foundation, and a  5 year veteran  Board Member of the Old Lousivlle Chamber of Commerce and she is  currently an active  Board member of the   neighborhood historic Conrad Caldwell House and Vice President of the  South Fourth Street Neighborhood Association.  Herb is a Past President and current Board member of the Old Louisville Community Development Corporation and is currently President of both  the Old Louisville Chamber of Commerce and   President of  the Bed and Breakfast Association of Kentucky.
