Turkey Bay Off-Highway Vehicle Area consists of about 100 miles of trails, offering a variety of experiences for different types of off-highway vehicles. Camping areas, chemical toilets, drinking water, unloading ramps, and trails are available for your enjoyment. Helments are required and riding passengers on OHV's not designed to carry passengers is prohibited. Please see our website at www.lbl.org/RULESOHV.html for additional rules and regulations.Fees: One- to three-day permits: $15, Seven day permit: $30, Annual permits valid April 1 thru March 31 of the current year: $60, and may be purchased at Turkey Bay or Golden Pond Visitor Center. Camping Fees: $8 per unit. 

 Due to recent snowfall and saturated soil conditions, Turkey Bay Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Area is temporarily closed, as of January 27, 2011.  Turkey Bay staff will re-evaluate trail conditions as the weather improves.  Visitors are strongly encouraged to “Call Before You Haul” to check current trail conditions at 270-924-2000, then press 3, or visit us on the web at www.lbl.org, Alerts & Notices. Land Between The Lakes is managed by the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, in partnership with “Friends of LBL,” to provide public lands outdoor recreation and environmental education.  Additional information including our Calendar of Events, maps, updates on programs and policies, safety information, and temporary trail and road closures is available on our website at www.lbl.org, or by calling 1-800-LBL-7077 or 270-924-2000.
